We advise:  If --- you ask for specific recommendations of what the company "should do," or if you have us as a contracted outside expert  member of your company's ethics committee or of your crisis management team.

Good ethics advisors give a diagnosis and a prescriptions of what to do.  Specifics, not generalities.
